Cott also offers a variety of other benefits designed for the
pleasure and convenience of its associates, including company
sponsored events, business casual attire, flexible work schedules,
credit union membership, dry-cleaning service, and an on-site
fitness center.
Medical
Associates have the option of selecting one of two medical programs,
based on the level of medical benefit that is right for them.
Both options are PPO plans and provide in-network and out-of-network
benefits.
Pharmacy
Benefits include the availability to purchase prescriptions from
a wide selection of retail pharmacies or through a mail order
service program.
Dental
Cott offers a choice of two programs: an indemnity program and
a DHMO program. Benefits are determined by the type of plan
selected.
Vision
Our vision program gives associates the flexibility to choose
in-network or out-of-network benefits, determined by the choice
of vision providers.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Associates may participate in health and dependent care spending
accounts on a pre-tax basis, which provides tax savings and
affords associates the ability to budget and allocate eligible
out-of-pocket expenses throughout the year.
Life Insurance
Cott provides group term life insurance coverage to all associates
at no cost. Associates have the option of electing additional
coverage for themselves and their dependents.
Short and Long Term Disability Programs
Our programs are designed to help protect an associate’s
income should time-off from work be required due to illness or
injury. A standard Long Term Disability program is provided at
no cost and associates have the opportunity to elect additional
LTD coverage. Short Term Disability programs vary, based on an
associate’s employment classification.
Retirement Savings Plan
We understand that financial security at retirement is a priority
for our associates. With a focus on meeting the needs of each
associate, Cott Systems offers a flexible retirement plan which
includes pre-tax or after-tax contribution options, availability
of catch-up contributions (certain conditions apply), an employer
match on a portion of contributions, and a portfolio of over
twenty investment account options to select from. In addition,
each year Cott Systems determines whether to make a Discretionary
Profit-Based Contribution to associates accounts.
Tuition Reimbursement
Associate development is important to us. We support and promote
continuing education efforts and provide assistance to our
associates through our tuition reimbursement program. Professional
certification and higher education expenses are eligible for
consideration under our program.
Employee Assistance Program
Our Employee Assistance Program offers associates tips for day-to-day
living as well as financial and legal advice and short term
counseling. This program is available to all Cott Systems associates
and their families at no cost.
Vacation/Personal Days
We recognize the importance of balancing work and personal needs,
and encourage our associates to take time off for relaxation
and reflection through our generous vacation and personal time
policies. The amount of time off available to an associate
is dependent upon their years of service with Cott Systems.
